South Carolina - Pediatric Hospitalist
Metro area hospital seeks Pediatric HospitalistJob Description:
This metro area Medical Center seeks a Board Certified Pediatrician to join them in the capacity of a Pediatric Hospitalist. Duties will include attendance of scheduled and unscheduled C-Sections, newborn nursery and Level II coverage and call rotation for pediatric acute care admissions. The hospital is looking to bring in three pediatricians interested in staring a new program. They are looking at one doctor handling the 12 bed unit from 8am till 5pm. This medical center has 24 hour neonatology support as well. The second doctor will take the night call schedule. The third doctor would have that week off. Schedule is flexible; the doctors will be able to determine the schedule. A competitive salary, including full time benefits apply, with some allowance for physician CME. This Medical Center is a full service, 288 bed acute care hospital serving the area with more than 370 physicians on staff representing 37 specialties. This is a very attractive practice environment that will allow the physician the opportunity to grow along with this newly established service.
