South Carolina - Pediatrics
Large Pediatric Practice located on the BeachJob Description:
Pediatric group of 7 physicians is seeking an associate. They are looking for a pediatrician to join one other in an office. This office has plenty of space and is in the middle of a very high growth area! Daily volume for the incoming physician will be very busy - 30+ patients daily. New physicians start out as employees of the group. Buy-in to partnership is generally offered at the end of two years. Hospital will offer first year financial assistance to incoming physician. This is a general pediatric practice with 1:8 hospital call, only at one Medical Center. The ED physicians are all residency trained and typically quite comfortable with pediatrics so the number of after hours call from the ED are minimal! The pediatricians rotate through some evening and weekend clinics, but it is not an onerous work schedule.
The Medical Center is a 219 bed tertiary referral center located in on the beach The only hospital in the region to offer such specialized services as open-heart surgery, neurosurgery, endocrinology, PET scanning and 2 emergency departments staffed with residency trained emergency medicine physicians, the hospital has earned a reputation as the hospital of choice for residents and visitors alike. With a medical staff of 240+ highly skilled practitioners, the medical center offers the community a full spectrum of board certified medical specialists and services. The hospital has been recognized as a "Top 100" hospital in the United States for both cardiac surgery and orthopedic surgery.
