South Carolina - Geriatric
Senior Health Center Geriatric PositionJob Description:
Physicians will be employees of the Medical Center (3 year contracts) with very competitive salaries, benefits, retirement plans, relocation allowance, etc. We need two fellowship trained geriatricians to staff a recently expanded busy Senior Health Center office and a brand new Senior Health Center. Both offices are located in the middle of high growth areas and there are excellent public schools and outstanding housing options within a 10 minute drive of each office. Each of the three senior centers is co-located with diagnostic imaging and laboratory services to provide convenient access and continuity of care for our patients.
Must be fellowship trained in Geriatrics.
Must be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS – NO PAGERS!!
Practices are outpatient only!
40 hrs/wk (usually M-Th 9 hrs, Fri 4 hrs)
Admissions are handled by hospitalist service
Offices are staffed with a social worker\community resource coordinator as well as an RN for each physician.
Practices are limited to geriatrics (55+ yrs old) with appointment time slots commensurate with the need to properly care for geriatric patients
