Coastal Carolina Endocrinology- Take Over Practice FreeJob Description:
We have a very unique and desirable opportunity for the right physician.
We are looking for an endocrinologist to step into a thriving endocrinology specialty practice that is located in the coastal Southeastern United States.
The current stockholders will be relocating to the West Coast. Rather than SELL the practice, our intention is to simply hand it off —lock, stock, and barrel— to one or more individuals.
Our reason? We feel a strong sense of responsibility to our employees, to our patients, and to our community. We believe that if we make this a very sweet deal, we will have more takers, and we can select one or more physicians who we believe would be most likely to treat our employees, patients, and community well.
The person(s) taking over this practice will have an intact management team, patients on the schedule, and cash flow from day one.
Revenues (cash in) total approximately $800,000 per year, and an active patient base of approximately 5,000.
We have three providers, which include the departing endocrinologist, plus two nurse practitioners. We have a very competent and dedicated practice manager, plus other administrative and clinical support staff.
We do pump training in house, and have an ultrasound machine for thyroid imaging and ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsies. We have a nuclear hot lab for thyroid uptakes and thyroid ablations. We draw labs in house, and perform a handful of CLIA waived tests on site.
Our office suite has eight exam rooms, which would easily handle four providers (one more than we currently have).
We have an integrated software system which includes EMR, practice management application, e prescribing, Internet portal, etc. We’re mostly paperless, which means that information can be readily accessed remotely (e.g. from home, etc.)

Located on the beach coastline considered one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the US, the area has been repeatedly recognized as one of the top retirement, tourist and convention destinations in the country. The community is comprised of a myriad of unique neighborhoods that include easy access to golf, the ocean, shopping and entertainment, national caliber live music venues, a local symphony, minor league baseball, water parks, outlet shopping, international airport, fishing, boating and restaurants.
