South Carolina practice has a great opportunity to build a satisfying practice without the hassle of running an office, developing a patient base or insurance billing. They are seeking BE/BC internists to fill these positions. Salary potential in excess of $200,000.
The local hospital is a 421-bed regional referral center providing a wide range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital houses a ten-bed ICU which admits major traumas, surgeries, acute respiratory problems, and high acuity patients. Our CCU, also a ten-bed unit, admits non-surgical Myocardial Infarction patients as well as other non-surgical cardiac patients. Both units include state-of-the art SpaceLabs monitoring systems and many unusual design features: Spacious rooms with power columns, Hil-Rom critical care beds, family access corridors and three family overnight rooms. Our CICU, opened in the Spring of 2002, has 10 spacious rooms with power columns and SpaceLabs monitoring systems with a full-disclosure feature. The CICU provides highly-skilled, quality care to both, adult and geriatric, preoperative and postoperative cardiac surgery patients and post-coronary intervention patients. Cardiac surgery offers CABG and all types of valve repairs and replacements. A new 224-bed patient tower opened in August 2006. The hospital is also home to a 27-resident family medicine teaching program.
