Columbia area community seeks Hospitalist for employmentJob Description:
This hospital located in the Columbia market seeks two Hospitalists! Will also include either a nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant. The population base includes Adult to geriatrics. Perform evaluations and orders at the time of admission, Assist with Emergency Room/ ICU patient flow, Manage resources efficiently - lab, X-ray pharmacy, and more, Provide Pre-op evaluations, Coordinate with Specialists, Provide Consultations, Collaborate with Case Managers, Work with the hospital's formulary, Provide discharge referrals, Schedule patient follow-up, etc. Schedule either 4on/4off or 5on/5off 6 to 8 hour shifts! Around 8 patients a day! This position offers low call volume! Full Benefits, and Salary based on hospitalist experience. Come live on the Lake!
