South Florida seeks Emergency Medicine Medical Director
Job Description:This South Florida hospital is recruiting Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for Fulltime Hospital Employed Staff and Medical Director positions.
Prospective candidates must meet all of the below criteria:
* Available to start in 2011
* Emergency Medicine Residency trained
* ABEM/AOBEM certified
* ATLS certified
Base salary, production bonus, benefits and occurrence-based malpractice insurance provided.
The Hospital is a 250 bed acute care full service hospital with a staff of 400 physicians and 750 employees. In additional to a broad spectrum of medical, surgical and mental health services, there is also a Pain Care Center, Comprehensive Center for Breast Care, an Aquatic and Rehabilitation Center, Wound Management, Diagnostic Imaging and ACE (Acute Care for the elderly) Unit.
Location Description:The metropolitan area encompasses a three-county area of the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Florida. The metropolitan area covers the counties of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. The area is commonly referred to as simply "South Florida" and is roughly synonymous with the term Gold Coast.
