North Carolina - Hospitalist - Director Internal Medicine
Piedmont area seeks a Medical Director Hospitalist

Job Description:
These job opportunities are with an independent physician owned and governed multispecialty group with approximately 200 physicians in 50+ office locations.

This MSG has its own Hospitalist program to care for their patients only, with 6 staff physicians working 7 days on/7 off rotations, 12 hour schedules 7 a.m.—7 p.m. (DAYS only—NO nights) at the community Regional Hospital.

Currently recruiting to fill two staff hospitalist vacancies, and also recruiting for newly created position of Lead Hospitalist, who will have both clinical and management responsibilities.

Also recruiting three outpatient internist to three different outpatient clinics in the MSG.

3 weeks per year paid vacation (staff hospitalists work 23 weeks per year) Base salary plus productivity incentive bonus based on RVU’s.

This a fully accredited facility with 400 full service beds. The hospital has its own Hospitalist pro-gram which cares for all unassigned patients and provides all night and code coverage.

Will consider 2011 residents as well as more experienced candidates.

This MSG has had Allscripts EMR for six years, and the IT Department provides 24/7 support for providers. Hospitalists can access office records throughout.
