Tennessee Major Metro seeks a Neurologist - Stroke

Job Description:
Neurology Specialists is looking to add a neurologist with a strong interest in stroke therapy.

•Traditional practice
•One hospital for rounds
•Call 1:5
•Competitive salary plus bonus
•Medical Directorship available

This physician would only practice at one hospital which holds a Primary Stroke Center certification from the Joint Commission (one of only a handful in the state) as well as three separate stroke accreditations from the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Patients have access to in-house rehabilitation services and physicians.

Patients will benefit from the following:
•24/7 rapid response team
•24/7 neuro imaging
•Dedicated neuro ICU
•Neuro-interventional suite
•Dedicated department of stroke research

Located in the geographical center of the eastern United States and this Tennessee major metro is within a day's drive for more than half the nation's population. The city's populace is approximately 175,000 with a heavily populated suburban area. It is richly blessed with the natural beauty of the Tennessee River and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
