Job Description:Currently searching for two internists in a traditional inpatient/outpatient practice. There are currently four physicians in the group. This Internist would work an attractive 4-day work week, and settle in a charming and historic town in Virginia. The group is long standing with a strong patient base. Their office is conveniently located on the nearby Hospital campus, where the physicians provide Hospitalists coverage one week out of six. We desire an exceedingly well-trained and motivated physician who is willing to provide predominately general services.
From our founding over 100 years ago, it remains a private, non-profit health system. The Hospital is our 25-bed critical care hospital serving the greater county region. With over 40 physicians on active staff, we hope you will consider joining our medical team.
Location Description: This Virginia community is a small, peaceful community nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. The county population is nearly 36,000 and our location offers spectacular mountain views, horseback riding, Civil War Battlefields and museums, first class golf courses, and much more. A private military academy is among the numerous educational choices available. With the Nation’s Capital nearby, we are afforded access to many cultural activities. Washington, DC is 70 miles away, with major city, cultural, and tourism attractions.
